Welcome parents and caregivers!
There’s a lot of information out there, and it seems that everywhere we turn someone is giving advice on how to best raise our children.
While my mission is to provide you with knowledge about child development and what we know about the child’s brain, it’s not to tell you how to best raise your child.
I want to empower you to become the expert in your child, trust your instincts, and rely on what you know about child development to select what works for your child and your family.
You know you want to enjoy these early years more but right now you are just downright
Exhausted
Guilt-Ridden
Confused
Irritable
Lonely
There’s a lot of information out there about how to raise children but sifting through it can make your head spin and leave you more confused than ever.
Truth is...we aren’t supposed to parent in isolation (which is what most of us are doing!) and every child is unique!
It truly does take a village to raise children...and I’m on a mission to help more families feel like they have one.
I believe knowledge is power but knowledge alone doesn’t always set you up for parenting success. It can easily distract you from your instincts and pull you away from connecting with your babies and loved ones if you let it.
My parenting classes help to blend the “just-right” amount of knowledge while allowing you time to become curious about your baby and become the expert in knowing your child!
I want more parents to feel confident connecting and reading their child’s cues and to understand what the most important foundations are for brain development (hint...none of these things cost a penny!)
Parenting is tough...but you don’t have to go it alone!

“Melanie was extremely supportive to our family during a rather difficult time. I always felt Melanie provided a safe space where I could communicate my challenges with her. A place where I felt validated. Melanie was instrumental in encouraging me to become the mother that could handle our new normal, which allowed me to gain greater levels of self-confidence. Our daughter's life has been forever changed because of Melanie's expertise, compassion, and kind nature. “ - Jenny
